一 | Singapore, Oct 13 (UNI) Singapore has jailed and fined an OnlyFans creator, in the city-state's first conviction of users of the adults-only platform.
A court on Wednesday fined Titus Low S$3,000 ($2,087) for sharing obscene photos and videos on the site, BBC reported.
He was also sentenced to three weeks prison for accessing his account in breach of a police order.
The case has sparked alarm over the criminal implications for OnlyFans creators in the conservative nation.
In Singapore, it is illegal to transmit obscene materials by electronic means or to take part in or receive profits from a business where such materials are transmitted.
"For sure, this case has set (a) precedent and other users will have to deal with the same risk of being on OnlyFans," Low's lawyer Kirpal Singh told the BBC.
"I think the message is quite clear that authorities are prepared to convict those who transmit explicit material not just on the OnlyFans platform but on the whole spectrum (of online areas)."
Singh said he had been approached by other content creators this year concerned about their own potential criminal liability.
However, experts had earlier suggested that prosecutions against such local content creators appear to only come about if instigated by a third party.
The BBC has reached out to the US-based company which enables users to buy exclusive, often explicit, content from "creators" they subscribe to.
Low was arrested in December 2021 after a woman found one of his explicit videos on her 12-year-old niece's phone and filed a police complaint.
The 22-year-old model had joined the platform only a few months earlier in April, where he had quickly become one of its biggest local stars, the report said.
After the complaint was made, officers confiscated his phone, iPad and changed the details of his OnlyFans account. But Low regained access to his account and continued uploading content as well as starting a second account.
He told the BBC last year he had continued using the site because it was his chief source of income.
Low had faced up to three months jail for sharing explicit pictures, and up to six months for defying the police instruction.
Following his conviction on Wednesday, he posted on Twitter he was "glad this is finally over".
Low, who has over 210,000 followers on social media, is a well-known Singaporean influencer and his case had been highly publicised.
The number of OnlyFans creators in Singapore is unknown but estimated to be in the hundreds.

二 | Ranveer Singh’s powerhouse performance in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has captured nationwide attention, but another actor who has unexpectedly become the internet’s favourite is Akshaye Khanna. Playing the enigmatic Rehman Dakait, Akshaye has left audiences mesmerised with his effortless screen command. Even those who haven’t watched the film yet are obsessing over his now-viral dance sequence to the Arabic track FA9LA, sung by Bahraini rapper Flipperachi. What most fans don’t know, however, is that the entire moment was created on the spot by Akshaye himself. In a conversation with Mid Day, choreographer Vijay Ganguly revealed that the original plan for the song was far more restrained. “The track marks Rehman Dakait being crowned Sher-E-Baloch. Akshaye was supposed to walk through the dancers and take his place on the throne,” he explained. “But watching the energy on set, he suddenly said he wanted to dance a little as he walked in. None of us had any idea what he was about to do. He just entered, felt the vibe, and performed spontaneously. That’s the kind of instinctive brilliance he has.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ranveer Singh (@ranveersingh) The shoot, set in the high-altitude terrain of Ladakh, wasn’t easy on Akshaye either. Ganguly shared that the actor was battling severe altitude sickness throughout the schedule. “Akshaye would keep a small oxygen cylinder with him. During the song shoot, his oxygen levels dropped. After every shot, he’d put on the mask, recover, and immediately return for the next take,” he said. “Despite all that, he delivered a flawless performance and wrapped the sequence in one stretch before heading home.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ranveer Singh (@ranveersingh) The scene has since become one of the standout moments of Dhurandhar, praised for its swagger. What stands out the most for fans is Akshaye’s raw, magnetic presence. Featuring a star-studded cast including Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi, Dhurandhar continues its strong box-office run. Fans are now eagerly gearing up for Dhurandhar 2, slated for release on March 19, 2026.Also Read: Dhurandhar Box Office Day 4: Ranveer Singh’s Film Sees a Dip in Collection。
